Guidelines for Submission

All submissions should be accompanied by a resume, artist statement and a listing of imagery submitted that includes title, size, medium and date of each artwork. Include a letter with your submission that lists your name, address, phone/fax and email address.

Please know that while we will make every effort to respond in some way to submissions, we may not be able to respond to every submission.

Digital Image Details

Submissions should be digital images in JPEG format. Images should be no larger than 500px on either side.

Instructions for submitting via. Email

To submit works via. email, send an email to submissions@asleepinseattle.com. Please either send images as attachments or include links to images hosted online (Flickr, Photobucket, etc.).

Instructions for submitting via. FTP

Images may be uploaded to our FTP server. Images must be uploaded to a folder titled with your full name so that we will be able to match your work with your resume.

Please wait until your folder has uploaded completely, and then email submissions@asleepinseattle.com to let us know your submission has been successfully uploaded.

If you are unfamiliar with FTP

Images uploaded via. FTP must be uploaded via an FTP program -- you cannot access the FTP server via a web browser.

If you do not have FTP software of your own, we suggest you download a free program. We recomend RBrowserLite for Macs or Core FTP for PCs.

Simply open the program, enter the FTP information above into the proper fields, and log-in. Then, drag and drop your FOLDER titled with your full name into the folder on the server.
